TG4 Coming to Coolderry, Sunday 7th @2pm

Get the make up on – TG4 is coming to Coolderry.  Thar an Trasnán  which  is an exciting competition, for GAA Clubs throughout Ireland, on  TG4 ‘s  Seó Spóirt which gives the clubs a chance to win a full team  kit sponsored by O’Neills. Each week the Seó Spóirt Team visit a different GAA club to check out what skills they have on offer when it comes to Hurling, Camogie or Football.

7  Club players will take part to try to score as many points or goals, individually, in order to   get on top of the leader board.  They would welcome as many supporters as possible to attend the   competition  to create a celebration  type routine when they player scores.

Coolderry OT Updates

Great turn out of nearly 60 people at the registration night for Coolderry Operation Transformation last night.  Thanks to everyone for attending.  Some updates after the meeting

a) Optional Weigh In will happen next Monday 11th at 7.30pm.  Anyone who didn’t get a chance to register last night can also do so at this time

b) First session is on Tuesday 12th.  Please be at Club house at 7.15pm for 7.30pm start (note revised times).  Session will involve light warm up for 15 mins, 30 mins walk/jog activity and 15 min cool down/stretch.

c) Bottle of water, track suit or similar, pair of runners and your commitment to have a good time and make an effort is all you need.

Coolderry Operation Transformation

Coolderry GAA will be organising a Community Operation Transformation to help people start 2016 on the right footing.  With the development of our walking track around the pitch in Coolderry this is a perfect opportunity to put it to good use.  There will be an information session each evening the week of 4th of January at the club house from 7.30pm.  So enjoy the Christmas and hope you get some walking/running shoes in your Christmas stocking!

Reminder that the Coolderry GAA AGM is on this Friday (4th December) at 8.30pm.  Please make every effort to attend to review the work that was completed during this successful year, discuss and ratify coaches and selectors for the coming year and elect our officers for the club.  It is your club so your input is vital and welcomed
